Pregnancy

This week I have hit my 24th week of pregnancy, which is still completely unbelievable to me at this point!  I think I am still in shock that I have been blessed this greatly!  I feel so different yet at the same time I feel like nothing has changed.  I have been extremely fortunate during this pregnancy to only have a very limited amount of pregnancy symptoms.  I have had no morning sickness, and only a few aches/ pains/ and leg cramps here and there.  This is why I feel like nothing has changed, I don't FEEL pregnant, but the growing bump under my shirt is hard to deny!  Even when I look at pictures of myself, I don't feel as big as I look in the pictures, but it does make me excited to see my growth progress knowing that little Fenna Mae is packing on the weight!
One thing that has changed is that my nesting instincts have kicked in already!  I have been cleaning and crafting for the baby's room these past few weeks like no body's business!  I will definitely share a post on the room once it is complete - I have found some of the cutest little things to incorporate!  For now, I just wanted to document the growing baby bump so I have this time frozen forever that I can go back to remember my first pregnancy and what a blessing it has been!

Spring!

Spring has finally arrived and to celebrate I had to snap some shots of Coney basking in the warmth of the day!  Since she never sits still I first had to play ball with her to wear her out!  This dog is like the energizer bunny when it comes to her ball, she could play forever!  Even as I am writing this post she is rolling her ball under the couch then diving in after it over and over again...it's nice when your dog can self entertain!  I don't think I could ever get tired of photographing this sweet, sweet face!  

Anniversary: 2 Years

I absolutely cannot believe that it was two years ago today that I said "I Do" to my best friend and the love of my life!  How time flies!!  Our journey together definitely has not always been easy, but the struggles brought us closer together.  I cannot imagine my life with anyone else!  We are beyond blessed to have loving families that support us and a little bundle of joy on the way!  I cannot wait to see where the next years take us!  Through the good and bad I know that I will have someone who loves me by my side, and I could not be more grateful!  I love you, David!!

Taylor Swift

Anyone who knows me knows I am a GINORMOUS T. Swift fan!  When Taylor came to Omaha a few years back, I missed the show and vowed that the next time she came back, I would not miss it!  So this time around I gathered a few friends and we bought awesome tickets for her show.  Now, I've heard that she is not great in person/concert, but I have to say after her show that I strongly disagree!  I loved every second of the show and thought she sounded amazing!  I would go again in a heartbeat!  I would love to say that Taylor Swift was the baby's first concert, but we did go to Maroon 5 a few weeks ago (which was also an awesome show!).  Although I couldn't take Canon with me into the show, I did take my lil point-and-shoot and actually captured a few good images!

  

A Beautiful Bride

Before the winter came, but when the air was already carrying a chill, I was able to take some portraits of one of my amazing friends in her wedding dress!  Because it was freezing out, we took these in about five minutes, but that's all that was needed.  I am so lucky to have such a beautiful amiga who let's me take photos of her!

Surprise!

A few months back, David and I found out we were expecting our first child!  We told our family and close friends over Christmas, but just last week shared the news on Facebook because, as we all know, nothing is ever official until it's on Facebook!  We are coming up on 14 weeks, and I wanted to share some pictures of this new and exciting time in our lives.  I never want to forget these moments.  I never want to forget the first time we saw our baby's heart beating on the ultrasound!  It is such a beautiful miracle!

Project Time

Wow!  It has been quite some time since I have posted on here!  I took a nice little break over the winter, but I am back and ready to roll!  I though I would start back up with one of my absolute favorite projects to date.  I had so much fun creating this and it was super easy!  So easy that I don't even think it's necessary to put instructions with the pictures! This is my new favorite house decoration, hanging in my room!  Take a peak!
