Fenna Mae

Two months ago my life changed completely; Fenna Mae was born and made my world a more wonderful place!  Everyone knows that a baby changes your life, but I don't think anyone can quite realize the blessing that it is until you are there.  It is indescribable.  The feeling of bringing a new life into this world is something that I will never forget.  I thank God for my little blessing every day.  Of course, there have been tough moments and a lot of tears shed in frustration and exhaustion, but the good outweighs the bad by so much!  And luckily Fenna Mae is an amazing sleeper, we have been getting at least 6-7 hours a night since she was only a few weeks old!  Here is my precious blessing:        

Since we now have a child to raise and are therefore going to be broke from buying diapers, I decided to do my own newborn pictures, and I was very happy with the results!  Here are a few of my favorites:

Fenna Mae's Nursery

David and I are now 36 weeks pregnant and I have a feeling that Fenna Mae will be joining us very shortly!  So, I figured I should get some pictures up of Fenna's nursery before she makes her appearance and it becomes permanently messy!  Please excuse the poor quality of pictures, but welcome to Fenna Mae's room!

Adam & Nikki - Maternity

Nikki and I played college soccer together a few years back, so I was extremely excited when she contacted me to do a maternity shoot for her and her husband, Adam!  This was my first maternity shoot and I am so honored that Adam and Nikki chose me!  They were extremely laid back and up for anything I asked them to do!  I really enjoyed our time together and love some of the images we were able to capture of this amazing time in their lives!  It was quite a challenge for me shooting at 32 weeks pregnant, but I am so glad I got this opportunity!  Adam and Nikki, thank you so much for believing in me and I can't wait to meet your little bundle of joy one day!!

Luke and Kris

This session is very special to me because Luke is David's brother and I was so honored to capture this time in Kris and Luke's life for them!  I was a little rusty going into the session but Kris and Luke were amazing and ready for anything.  I love some of the shots we were able to get so please enjoy!
